I had the blessing of visiting Katmandu, Nepal three years ago. The people are beautiful, generous people, living in poverty. The 7.8 earthquake on Saturday April 25th, devastated their country.
I particularly have a connection the with the PurnaYoga Trek owners, Manohar and Manesh (Maheswar Shrestha). They trekked us through the Himalayan mountains on a transformative adventure. They are currently single-handedly helping the mountain villages and getting supplies to them. Manesh is a beautiful amazingly spiritual man. I trust him and know he is doing good work.
Please help us contribute to his efforts by donating to our Fundraising for Purna Yoga Trek and their generous attempts at helping so many in need. Manesh mentioned that the government of Nepal has gained control of the bank accounts for the earthquake relief organizations. He is concerned about their corruptness. So we are doing private fundraising specifically for the village he is helping.
You can also attend our YES – Yoga, Ecstatic Dance & Sound Bath on June 20th where 50% of the proceeds will go to Nepal Earthquake Relief.
Thanking you in advance for your contribution. I love the country and people of Nepal. I feel like this is a small way I can give back to what they contributed to me when I visited them.
